I would consider myself a novice-intermediate at jumping rope. I have used different kinds throughout the years...leather, licorice, wire speed ropes. This is by far my favorite. It’s a licorice rope that’s long enough for a person up to maybe 6’7”. It’s customizable for different heights by cutting and adjusting clips inside handles. I’m 6’2” and cut a total of about 12” off the rope. The biggest difference from other ropes I’ve used are the handles. They have pretty substantial weight that makes for easier jumping and control. I guess you can stuff the barrel handles with something to make them a little more weighted. Love this rope.
