  • In the original RockBlades 1.0 kit, there were two tools: a stainless steel Mallet and a plastic Mullet.
  • In the new RockBlades 2.0 kit, the Mallet and Mullet are both stainless steel.

The Mullet, new for RockBlades 2.0, is made from the same surgical grade stainless steel used in the Mallet. Hand polished treatment surfaces, combined with a perfectly balanced and weighted core make it a joy to use day in and day out.

Four distinct tissue-manipulation zones provide comprehensive treatment capabilities. Each edge, angle, and shape was carefully honed over two years to deliver superior results.

The Mullet’s non-treatment faces are chemically-etched with RockTape’s manifesto pattern.

Mullet Upgrade

I like the light weight of the equipment and at the same time convenient in my hands to work with.

Upgrade review

I was excited to receive the upgraded mullet! It looks much more professional and can be cleaned much more thouroughly. However, I would have rather paid extra and gotten a solid metal tool rather than the hollow feeling design. All in all it is definitely a huge upgrade from the plastic and will be able to put this tool to good use!

Love the new mullet!! Honestly didn't care for the plastic one. Just didn't like the overall weight and feel.

Mullet upgrade

Written by Andrew on 12th Nov 2017

I was excited to see that the MULLET was finally being upgraded from the plastic to a metal version. However, upon receipt of it I discover that while it is metal it feels hollow and cheap. I was hoping it would have been just like the Mallet, solid with substance. I'm sure the design was directed towards a lighter travel tool as the MULLET was originally designed to be, but it's a bit of a let down when you're expecting a MULLET shaped tool with the substance of a mallet. It does, however, work as well as the previous version so I'll still use it... just not as much as my favorite - the Mallet.
