Keeping your knees stabilized is essential when it comes to lifting. Knee Caps are specifically designed to provide compression, warmth and lateral stability when performing functional movements such as dead lifts, pistols and squats.
Unlike other supports, Knee Caps are ‘extra tall’ and designed to compress the VMO* at its insertion point above the patella to help ensure proper stability and tracking. Knee Caps also provide compression and warmth to promote blood flow.
*The vastus medialis muscle is one of four quadriceps muscles. It is located on the inner part of the front of the thigh. The lowest part of the vastus medialis, called the vastus medialis oblique (VMO), achieves its maximum contraction during full extension. The VMO helps to stabilize the patella and allow it to track properly.

In the measurement chart I measured on the upper end of the small size and lower end of the medium. I ordered a small 5mm and I'm happy with my selection. It keeps my knees warm and I feel more confident in my squats. I did have an issue with the black stitch coverings becoming loose. I emailed them about the issue and the resolved it quickly. The customer service was excellent and the new design is more solid. I do not foresee any issues with the new design. Great product and will continue to train with confidence.

Ordered these on deployment during the Open and I could not be more happy! Received them on the day 14.2 was announced and went right into it: amazing! The compression provided was phenomenal: perfect fit, especially for the volume of reps being done. I have never had any complaints about RockTape products since I started using them back in 2011 and I hope to never have any as I move forward in my Athletic progression. I highly recommend these or any other product from RockTape, you will not be disappointed.

These are the best on the market and are very affordable. I've compared them to other peoples and these are actually a bit longer and stay in place. Everyone else in my box has to fidget when theirs throughout wod. Love these

Keeps my knees really warm and supported when doing squats. I had to contact rocktape because the black layering covering was already unglued and coming off after few weeks of using it. They asked me for my order # and I gave it to them and even took a picture of the knee caps. After a week they sent me new ones. The new edition is much better! They sewed the black layering on the sides. Perfect for strength workouts and wod. Get it!!!!

I use this product for power lifting. I bought the small 7m my knee is 15" and its a tight fit with a small amount of bunching behind the knee but does not bother me during lifts. I could have went with a medium but I wanted it to be tight if your knee is bigger than 15" or you plan on using them for more than heavy lifts I would get a medium. I would give the product five stars but there are some small lines running across the knee cap maybe from my tight fit. This only occurred in one knee cap. I believe this product will still last me years and it feels great on my knees. I squat 2 or 3 times a week and I think they will last long. Great quality over all. I never used knee caps before and I have lifted for years and they make a huge difference. I also play basketball and I would recommend a medium 5m for that if you measure around 15" knee. I'm 5'11" can dunk on a good day and I squat 360 just to give you an idea of the support it gives in relation to the size of the knee cap.

So far these are really comfortable and seem really durable. I've used rehbands for a little over a year now and I did love them, however with rocktape's more contoured design at 7mm thickness they stay on better. Less pulling them back up and i gotta admit I'm a bigger fan of red than blue so I was really hoping these were gonna be a hit!! Ive only had them a short time so I hope the stitching holds up like the rehbands. Def recommended so far!!

i have had many types of knee sleeves, these are by far my favorite. they are long enough to not have to worry about them sliding down. i highly recommend them to everyone needing knee sleeves.
